I got 2 salmon rolls and an Eel Avocado roll. Just look at how much salmon they put in those rolls!!! It was so fresh and delicious. The sake was in a cute container and you got a great amount for $8. I will be coming back often!

This place is a gem in Lawrence, KS. It has really good prices. And it also has very good sushi and lots of Japanese cuisine like takoyaki that is really delicious. I definitely recommend this place as a laid back date or get together with friends and family. 10/10 dining experience

I ordered on uber eats- When I get sushi my go to is always the spider roll. I got my spider roll and it did not taste good at all. The nori (seaweed wrap) was super soggy and rubbery, the deep fried part tasted stale and the snow crab had no flavor. The roll was also so huge I couldn’t chew it all in my mouth. I decided to give this place another shot and ordered some non deep fried rolls, they were a lot better. I’m willing to keep coming here but I hope they can fix the spider roll issue.

Love the food, portions are large, price is reasonable. The fried red bean ice cream was exceptional. I love the tempura. My kids get ramen and sushi. Everyone leaves full and happy.

I absolutely love this food!!! I am vegan, their veggie hibachi is incredible, they happily make their fried rice with no egg for me every time. I don’t even live in Lawrence but come here just to eat sometimes. Their sushi is incredible too, others in my party eat fish and find it is delicious and fresh like we found when we lived on the west coast. Eat here!! And whoever is dating the cook, kiss that person! They are making incredible food and deserve that kiss!

We ate here for the first time today for my mom’s birthday. What a great place! Our waitress was fantastic, very attentive and quick. The menu has an excellent selection, the food was delicious, the vibes are very calm and relaxing, and they even brought out a special cheesecake with flaming candle for my moms birthday! We have tried many Japanese places in town and this is our new favorite for sure.

We went here for my wife’s birthday lunch. She loves salmon sashimi and her all salmon sashimi platter was fresh and delicious. I’m vegetarian, and the vegetarian options were numerous and my 3 choices of rolls were all distinct and delicious. There are more vegetarian options to try next time. Service was friendly and unfussy. At the end of the meal my wife’s birthday was celebrated with complimentary cheesecake with a sparkler lit on top and Happy Birthday played over the sound system. What a wonderful birthday lunch!
